Dalbello ski boots have stood for passion, innovation and the highest level of craftsmanship in skiing since 1974. Although Dalbello does not produce its own ski boots only started producing its own ski boots in the 1970s, the company's roots go back to the 1960s: Alessandro and Giovanna Dalbello gained their first experience at the Swiss ski boot factory Henke. After returning to Italy, they began making ski boot parts for Henke - until they realized that their creativity and ideas went beyond simply sewing components.
"We wanted to make ski boots for ourselves - not just for others," recalls Alessandro Dalbello, the founder and current chairman of the company. So in 1974, the first pair of Dalbello ski bootsthat was exported to Austria - the beginning of a success story that continues to this day.
