Product information "Nidecker Liberty 2020"

This graphic was produced in 1986 in the Nidecker factory in Rollé, Switzerland, and was first presented on a snowboard with a very special place in history. In the following year, it became one of the first snowboards to be ridden from the summit to the foot of Mont Blanc, one of the most famous mountains on the planet, in the world-famous freeride mecca Chamonix (France). This new edition uses the shape of the Mellow. It is without doubt one of the coolest and loosest freeride boards we have ever made. The mix of classic contour and high-tech materials gives you the fantastic feeling you experience when surfing powder, on well-groomed slopes or in slush at the end of the season. Specifically designed for bumpy terrain and snakeruns through the trees, it blurs the line between ripping your favorite mountain or ripping your favorite wave. Our Absornid topsheet absorbs unwanted vibrations and provides more responsiveness and extra pop.

Nidecker Odyssey Women

You wouldn't expect to find this board in a classic women's line. But why shouldn't women who love surfing be allowed to live out this feeling on the mountain? With this board, they can now do so with ease. Like the men's version Mellow, it is made for relaxed freeriding and lets you make surf-style turns in powder just as effortlessly as on freshly groomed slopes or in spring snow. It blurs the boundaries between the feeling of riding a wave and gliding down the mountain. The ash topsheet veneer absorbs unwanted vibrations and gives the board extra responsiveness and pop.

Nidecker Escape 2025

If you're looking for a board that you can do everything with, you'll find it with the Nidecker Escape 2025. It's the golden mean: not too hard, but not too soft either and with a super versatile shape to rock the whole mountain. Probably the first thing you'll notice is the beautiful ash veneer topsheet. Together with the Vibrak Kevlar inserts under the inserts, it dampens vibrations and reduces board flutter. Add to that a positive camber and Triax fiberglass for responsiveness on the edge and plenty of ollie power when you take to the air. A 30mm setback stance gives you a little better float when you're out in fresh powder in the morning and still leaves you enough length in the tail when you want to unpack your switch tricks later in the park. With eight different lengths from 152 to an extra wide 169, there's an Escape for every rider.

This twin shape makes it super easy for them to ride in both directions and as they become more confident, they can also practise switch! Edge control is particularly important at this stage, which is why we have equipped the Micron Magic with a particularly forgiving profile that won't throw them off so easily when initiating turns, and an extra soft flex for the first ollies.
