More and more enthusiasts are switching to splitboarding. A white snow-covered mountain and no tourists! What more could you want? A splitboard is a snowboard that you can cut in half for the ascent and fit with ski skins. Once you reach the summit, you simply click your skis together and prepare for the descent.
The first splitboards were developed in Bavaria in the late 1980s and early 1990s, but were only briefly put into mass production because the materials and technology were not yet fully developed. In the mid-1990s, the idea was taken up again in the USA and the first successful series production was achieved. We are happy to offer you everything you need in our online store.
