Ski consultant
Skiing – a passion that combines variety and technique. But finding the right ski can be a challenge given the selection in the "forest of boards". Whether you prefer carving turns on hard slopes, weightless floating in deep snow or enjoyable gliding, our ski advisor will help you find the perfect pair of skis.
Step by step to the right ski
1. Where do you want to use your ski?
- Piste (Carver): For hard-groomed slopes, with a focus on precision and speed.
- Allmountain: An all-rounder that can excel both on the piste and off-piste.
- Freeride: Ideal for untouched deep snow slopes and challenging terrain.
- Freestyle: For pipes, parks and funparks, with high maneuverability and flexibility.
- Touring skis: For long ascents and exciting descents in open terrain.
2. Which ski is right for me?
Beginner, advanced or professional: Depending on skiing ability and technique, there are different models.
Slope preferences: Hard slopes, moguls or untouched deep snow slopes? Your preferences determine the ski type.
3. What role does the turn radius play?
- Natural turn radius: Determined by bending line and torsional rigidity.
- Small radius: For tight, fast turns and maneuverable movements.
- Large radius: For long turns at higher speeds.
4. How fast and how well do you ski?
Be honest with yourself to find the right ski for your skiing style:
- Comfortable skier: Enjoys rather calm descents and makes wide turns.
- Sporty skier: Looks for challenges and skis at high speed.
For sporty drivers: Precise turns, high speed and top performance.
Features:
- Radius: Narrow (approx. 13 m) to wide (approx. 21 m)
- Width: Narrow (66-72 mm)
- Sidecut: Extreme, for fast edging
The all-rounder: Versatile on and off the slopes, optimal mix for variety.
Features:
- Width: 72 mm or more
- Sidecut: Low, for greater smoothness
- Radius: Medium range, between 15 and 18 m
