Mammut
The company was founded in 1862 by Kaspar Tanner in Dintikon as a rope-making business. Mammut specializes in outdoor clothing, backpacks, ropes and harnesses, avalanche transceivers and headlamps under the Lucido brand as well as sleeping bags under the Ajungilak brand. The traditional Swiss brand Raichle covers the mountain, trekking, hiking and multifunctional footwear markets. In 2009, the Raichle brand was abandoned in favor of a uniform brand identity. Since then, the products have been marketed under the name Mammut.
