It is EXTREMELY LIGHT, TECHNICAL and even MORE FUNCTIONAL with the new SWISSWOOL-TEC-KNIT BACK SYSTEM. SWISSWOOL-TEC-KNIT BACK SYSTEM The SWISSWOOL-TEC-KNIT BACK SYSTEM stands for the innovative synthesis of a TECHNICAL FOAM BACK with THERMO-PRESISTANT SWISS WOOL, covered with a 3D HIGHTECH KNIT. The wool pads are used zonally in contact areas with the back and store large amounts of moisture without feeling wet. REDUCTION FOR LIGHTNESS The PEAK LIGHT combines STABILITY, COMFORT AND LIGHTNESS. The 1100 g* total weight can be reduced by a further 380 g* by REMOVING THE LID, HIP LOCK, ALUMINIUM BACK RACK and various external fastening options. 720 g* minimum weight thus extends the range of use from long alpine tours to many alpine rope lengths * +/ - 4 % due to production and material fluctuations. FURTHER FEATURES The PEAK LIGHT 32 for men is our alpine lightweight and made for demanding alpine tours. Thanks to the extremely tear and abrasion-resistant Nylon 420D Oxford material, the backpack is very robust, but still extremely light. The nylon fabric is one of the lightest materials used in our backpacks. At the same time, the material is PU-coated and therefore water-repellent. The new triangular design of the lid allows variable adjustment when attaching ropes etc. without slipping. The lid can be completely removed or stowed in the main compartment. If it is stowed in the main compartment, the zipper on the lid can still be opened without any problems. The lid compartment has two compartments. The taped seams make the lid completely waterproof. With the PEAK LIGHT, we have concentrated on the important features and dispensed with the unnecessary. Of course, the PEAK LIGHT has important features such as the rope and ice axe attachment, load control straps, helmet net, gear loops, hip pocket, a map pocket and the all-round zipper for quick access to the main compartment via the front. Safety equipment is held securely inside thanks to the safety attachment. The Ortovox backpack standards also include an emergency card, chest strap with signal whistle, compression straps, bright interior colors, hydration system preparation and a ski holder. The well thought-out features, low weight and innovative back system make the rucksack a highly functional alpine touring rucksack for alpinists, in which doing without means more function.

The Randonnée model is a versatile backpack for winter tours and alpine crossings. Mountaineering in winter is exciting and beautiful, but scaling Lange ascents or climbing with a backpack makes your body sweat as it tries to lower its temperature. This can leave your back and shoulders sweaty and hypothermic, especially when temperatures drop or the wind picks up on belays or descents. Our Contact Flow Fit carrying system offers a groundbreaking solution to this problem. It allows higher perspiration per cm² than conventional constructions and reduces the temperature in the middle back area by 1.6 °C after 15 minutes. This is due to the low body contact and the integrated micro-ventilation system with 3D air channels that allow more air to circulate around the back. The carrying system and the geometry of the shoulder straps are specially tailored for women. The result is a dry back and long-lasting comfort for Lange days in the mountains. The Randonnée model is also characterized by other intelligent solutions that make it the perfect backpack for winter. Its robust ROBIC® material is a special, high-strength nylon fabric that is 60 % more tear-resistant than conventional nylon backpack materials and can withstand almost anything, from rocks to crampons and ice tools. The proven Split Shoulder Strap system offers greater arm mobility than conventional backpacks and is an important feature on long ascents with skis and climbing skins or when moving overhead while climbing. This backpack is characterized by functional details such as a rope attachment, an ice axe attachment and several ski attachment options (both parallel and diagonal), which allow quick fixation without removing the backpack. There is a fleece-lined pocket for goggles to prevent them from getting scratched, a separate side pocket for wet climbing skins and a special compartment for shovel and probe.
